More Twilight music featured on Dancing with the Stars!!!

This is beautiful and amazing!

We all know Sia's My Love, featured on the Eclipse Motion Picture Soundtrack, was destined from the moment we heard it for the famed proposal scene. Well guess what, you can dance a beautiful waltz to it too!

The song was featured on a Dancing with the Stars.

Carter Burwell Returning to Twilight?

I find this odd and early at that too... 

But as I scope for news, I came across an article from The Playlist about the score for Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2. 

According to the article, Carter Burwell, who scored the first movie, Twilight, is returning to score both parts of Breaking Dawn. He has a relationship with Condon, the director, as he worked with him on Gods and Monsters.

Most directors will use composers that they feel comfortable with and have worked with before. So naturally, Condon will chose a composer that he is familiar with and can take the story and develop the music for it. 

I for one am not happy about this. I find this to be way to early talking about composers for the movies since it doesn't release until November of both 2011 and 2012. Also, I wasn't as impressed with the Twilight score as I was with New Moon or Eclipse, New Moon being my favorite of the three so far. 

So for now, I hope that this is just talk and that a better composer is chosen for the final two movies.

Best Buy Eclipse Cast Appearence!

So... Today started like any other Saturday would... I got up, peed, got coffee, scratched my ass, cleaned, fed kids, cleaned some more, got dressed, called the baby sitter and then RAN OUT OF MY HOUSE AT 10AM!!!

Why? Because today I spent 7 1/2 hours at Best Buy in Baton Rouge to get an Eclipse DVD signed by... Wait for it....

The dude who played Marcus from New Moon... Christopher Something or other... LOL

AND.....

Jackson Rathbone aka Jasper Hale!!! 

AND.... 

Charlie Bewley and Jamie Campbell Bower (Charlie was videoing from his phone Jackson talking to someone!)

AND.... 

Daniel Cudmore and Cameron Bright (in the bright yellow hoodie on the end)

Yes, I did this today!!! I am seriously fan girling still right now from this wonderful experience!! 

Now as I was leaving the line, a police officer, yes a police officer, stopped me and handed me a yellow manila folder and in it, it contained... WAIT FOR IT....

SEE THAT BOTTOM PIC... YEA THE PIC WITH ROB, KRISTEN AND TAYLOR??? YEP, THAT'S MINE!!!! APPARENTLY THEY PRE SIGNED LIKE A 100 OF THEM TO PASS OUT TODAY!!! AND THANK GOD I WAS ONE OF THE 1OO!!!! 

So as you can tell I have had a fun fill day!!! The proceeding post will be some RANDOM PICS from the EPIC DAY!!!!

Eclipse DVD Signings!!!!

For me, this little bit of information is kinda of suckish for me. Why you may ask? Because I already own three copies!!!!! LOL

Starting this weekend, some of the stars from Eclipse will be making some special apperances at local Best Buy's around the country!!

Countdown to Eclipse DVD Release! It's AngryEdward!!!

This is it... 24 hours and counting! At midnight I will own a piece of pop culture and add to my collection of Twilight DVD's with the edition of Eclipse!  Don't worry, I've made the room in the fire proof safe for two more copies!!!  That brings my total to 7 movies... Not bad! 

I think I saved the best clip for the last day. ANGRYEDWARD!!! I don't know about you guys but I was squealing like a pig when I saw this clip for the very first time on Oprah and loved it even better in the theater when I saw the movie!

3 MORE DAYS!!!! 3 MORE DAYS!!!!! 

I think I get a little happier each day... Like today, as I was driving to get new tires, the local Blockbuster had the poster hanging in their window and of course, I grinned like a fool and almost ran into the back of someone... ONLY ME!

"Yes, officer, I was totally distracted by the Eclipse movie poster hanging in Blockbuster's window." LOL

Paste Magazine: The 50 Best Albums of the Decade

So I'm going through tweeter today and catch this awesome tweet from @PasteMagazine about the 50 Best Albums of the Decade (2000-2009) and I start looking. And what do I find??? 

In at #45 is Radiohead In Rainbows (2007). Other than me really, really liking this band, their song "15 Step" was the closing song for Twilight. 

In at #39 is Arcade Fire Neon Bible (2007). This band is a favorite of mine, so check them out!! 

In at #37 is Iron & Wine Our Endless Numbered Days (2004). Their song "Flightless Bird" was also featured in Twilight during the prom scene. 

In at #32 is The Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002). This is another favorite of mine!! 

In at #31 is Death Cab for Cutie Transatlanticism (2003). Among one of my favorite all time bands, their song "Meet me on the Equinox" was the title track for New Moon. 

In at #29 is Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago (2008). They appear along with St. Vincent, and provided us the lead in with "Rosyln" during the New Moon 'Breakup scene'.

In at #21 is Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend (2008). This is another favorite band of mine with "Giving up the Gun" and "Holiday". They were featured on the Eclipse soundtrack with "Jonathan Low." You know, the scene where Bella (would have never done that) jumps on the back of the motorcycle with Jacob?

In at #19 is Beck Sea Change (2002). Beck is an oldie for me, "Loser" is still one of my favorites along with, "The New Pollution" and "Gamma Ray". He collaborated with Bat for Lashes in "Let's Get Lost" from the Eclipse soundtrack. 


In at #14 The Strokes Is This It (2001). Another one of my favorite bands! 


In at #6  The White Stripes Elephant (2003). Favorite Band! 


In at #3 Arcade Fire Funeral (2004). Really getting into this one! Check them out!

Countdown to Eclipse DVD!!!

 4 more days!!! Gosh I can't believe we only have 4 more freaking days to finally own our very own copy of Eclipse!! 


Today's little clip is the 1st bedroom scene, you know the one where he sniffs her... yea that one... it melted my heart the first time I saw it (before the movie) and it melted my heart again today when I watched it again. And I'm pretty sure it will melt my heart come midnight when I stick my dvd into the dvd player and watch Eclipse!!!

5 more days!!!!!!! 

I looked around on my Directv pay per view this morning and FOUND Eclipse! It's starts at 11pm (cst) time. I have a feeling that even though I am getting my two copies of the DVD I will still be spending the $4.99 to rent it for the entire day! 

Anyhoo, we have 5 more days and the clip of the day is "Doesn't he own a shirt" one where the "hand off" happens. It is one of the best one liners in the movie!

  So... 7 days to go!! This time next Saturday, Eclipse will be released onto DVD and is bound to break records of DVD sales!! I am just grateful that this year I am not running around town buying four different copies! 

Each day I will bring a video from a scene from Eclipse! We can relive together this amazing movie and mark another day off of our calendars together!

Pre order your Eclipse DVD or not?

As we already know, Eclipse will be released on December 4, here in the US. This date is far from my early predication which had the DVD being released in October, the 30th to be exact. 

Starting yesterday, Wednesday September 15, you can pre order your copy from Amazon. 

I for one, will not pre order, as I have heard horror stories about shipping problems and wrong items and stuff. I will march my happy little butt over to Walmart or Borders on St. Charles Ave. again and pickup my copy at midnight and watch it with my kids again! 

So, if you want to wait until the following Monday to get your long awaited Eclipse DVD, you can pre order here at Amazon's website.

Eclipse for Christmas!!!

As most of you know... Save the date is here again!!! 

ECLIPSE will be released to DVD on DECEMBER 4, 2010 at midnight!! In keeping with a non release date, Summpid chose another Saturday release for midnight parties and stuff! 

Let's just hope they are smart and not send the cast any where far off since they will be filming during this time... OH wait I have a BRILLIANT idea... Send them all over Louisiana THIS TIME!!!!!
