But as I scope for news, I came across an article from The Playlist about the score for Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2.
According to the article, Carter Burwell, who scored the first movie, Twilight, is returning to score both parts of Breaking Dawn. He has a relationship with Condon, the director, as he worked with him on Gods and Monsters.
Most directors will use composers that they feel comfortable with and have worked with before. So naturally, Condon will chose a composer that he is familiar with and can take the story and develop the music for it.
I for one am not happy about this. I find this to be way to early talking about composers for the movies since it doesn't release until November of both 2011 and 2012. Also, I wasn't as impressed with the Twilight score as I was with New Moon or Eclipse, New Moon being my favorite of the three so far.
So for now, I hope that this is just talk and that a better composer is chosen for the final two movies.

So I'm going through tweeter today and catch this awesome tweet from @PasteMagazine about the 50 Best Albums of the Decade (2000-2009) and I start looking. And what do I find???
In at #45 is Radiohead In Rainbows (2007). Other than me really, really liking this band, their song "15 Step" was the closing song for Twilight.
In at #39 is Arcade Fire Neon Bible (2007). This band is a favorite of mine, so check them out!!
In at #37 is Iron & Wine Our Endless Numbered Days (2004). Their song "Flightless Bird" was also featured in Twilight during the prom scene.
In at #32 is The Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002). This is another favorite of mine!! In at #31 is Death Cab for Cutie Transatlanticism (2003). Among one of my favorite all time bands, their song "Meet me on the Equinox" was the title track for New Moon.
In at #29 is Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago (2008). They appear along with St. Vincent, and provided us the lead in with "Rosyln" during the New Moon 'Breakup scene'.
In at #21 is Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend (2008). This is another favorite band of mine with "Giving up the Gun" and "Holiday". They were featured on the Eclipse soundtrack with "Jonathan Low." You know, the scene where Bella (would have never done that) jumps on the back of the motorcycle with Jacob?
In at #19 is Beck Sea Change (2002). Beck is an oldie for me, "Loser" is still one of my favorites along with, "The New Pollution" and "Gamma Ray". He collaborated with Bat for Lashes in "Let's Get Lost" from the Eclipse soundtrack.
In at #14 The Strokes Is This It (2001). Another one of my favorite bands!
In at #6 The White Stripes Elephant (2003). Favorite Band!
In at #3 Arcade Fire Funeral (2004). Really getting into this one! Check them out!

Do you remember where you were on November 19 and 20th in 2009? Let's see... I was at my local theater watching Twilight at 9pm and then settling in my seat for the midnight showing of New Moon! How about you? Well if that was you too, then guess what...
Because of the opening day New Moon had back in November of 2009, it has earned a spot in the Guinness World Records book!
That's right... The Twilight Saga: New Moon earned the spot after having the Highest Opening Day Gross of $72.7 million. (it beat out the Dark Knight!) Also Twilight made the book along with director Catherine Hardwicke for Highest Grossing Movie by a Female Director.
WooHoo!!! What a night!! Tweeter was like nuts!!! My kids annoyed the HELL out of me!!! But now I am watching the MTV Movie Awards yet again!

MTV Generation Award: Sandra Bullock (Betty White: Don't ever wear that dress backwards!)
Now as far as the show, it was funny as ever... alot of F bombs going off but I must say, even though Twilight swept the awards the best thing that happened was Peter acceptance speech!!!

As far as the clip for Eclipse?!?!?! Mixed reviews on my end... It was the parking lot scene when they return from Florida... it was all GOOD until she jumped onto the back of the motor cycle???????????
WTF?????????????????????? I'm sorry but Jeez... Rosenberg... some things need to stay as they lay..... I'm going to be really, really, really pissed off if that's the way it is in the movie....
All in all... The MTV Movie Awards prove to be an amazing evening as EVER! EPIC!!! Can't wait till next year!!!
