So, if you have been following Welcome to the Reilys, not long a trailer came out along with a limited release date of November 5th. Well now sources say that the film will open the New Orleans Film Fest October 14th, in New Orleans! The movie its self was filmed on location within the city, which was not KStew's first time here either!
And not her last...
On The Road, KStew next movie, which is currently filming in Argentina, will be in New Orleans for production, September 7-16th. Now, I'm a little worried because we have a massive party going on September the 9th, as the New Orleans Saints start their regular season with a concert and parade. Hopefully the production company can handle the crowd that will be in the Quarter through out entire day and night!!
And last but not least, KStew and company will began production on Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge come this November!!

Louisiana, The NEW Hollywood??
Yes, I am boasting here... Louisiana is the NEW HOLLYWOOD!!!
We have had soooooo many movies and Tv shows being filmed here it isn't even funny! While a friend was in town, we watched them tape a TV show called Memphis Beat across from eating at a local food place in LaPlace!!!
I have seen signs every where in the city for crew parking and makeup.
So yes, we are the NEW Hollywood!!!
Check out this article from USA Today about how Louisiana is becoming a go to state for film production companies!!
And it doesn't hurt that the number one movie right now will shoot back to back films of Breaking Dawn in my back yard, either!!!

Breaking Dawn and 3D???
So, by now you've heard the news... Breaking Dawn will be 2 Movies!! And yes, I will be there when it premieres sandwiched between friends on the streets of LA!!! Haa Haa Haa Haa Hope my girl scout skills come back to me! LOL
Any hoo, the word on the wire is that Summpid is "THINKING" which by the way, they really shouldn't do, on filming in 3 D.
I am totally against this. I know that regular formatting, 2D, would be released at the same time and probably IMAX as well, but I can't see Breaking Dawn in 3 D? Can you?
As a avid tweeter, if ya not following ya should, everyone is going on and on and on about this. Come and jump on the band wagon!!!
Or else you will wind up with *splat* a baby in your lap next November 18, 2011!!!

Breaking Dawn to be Two Movies!!!
Check out the below statement from Summit via their Twilight Face Book page!!
Of course, tweeter is nuts and so it should be! This is amazing news and for me, I am really, really, really, happy that they are splitting this book into two. As said before, Breaking Dawn is my favorite!!!
I know, we have like 500 and something days till November 18, 2011 but it will be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it!! I'm thinking the second and final movie will be released summer of 2012. Filming these back to back and release 6 months apart is a perfect way to end this series. On a High Note!!!
Enjoy the article and lets all go out for a drink!!! LOL

MOVIE MONDAY
Welcome to another Movie Monday!!!As I continue with my Vampire themes, I would live to share my LOVE for The Lost Boys!!!
In 1987, a cult classic was born onto the movie screen. Jason Patric plays Michael, Corey Haim plays Sam, Jami Gertz plays Star, Corey Feldman plays Edgar Frog and Kiefer Sutherland plays David, the leader of the vampires. The movie was directed by Joel Schumacher.
Michael and Sam move with their mother, played by Dianne Wiest, to Santa Carla, CA to live with their grandfather. Santa Carla is a beach town and the murder capital of the world.
As the movie progresses we see the reason why it's the murder capital of the world, VAMPIRES are among them.
Michael meets Star, played by Gertz, and she introduces him to David, head vamp, played by Sutherland. Sam on the other hand, meets the Frog Brothers, played by Feldman, and learns of Santa Carla's dark secrets, vampires roam this beach side town.
This movie offers a little romance, thrills and of course comedy. The Frog Brothers and Grandpa provide the good punch lines.
I haven't seen it in a while, but when I do, it always amazes me how awesome it is! So, if you haven't seen or heard of this movie, I suggest you rent it!
And here are your daily quotes:
Sam: "Death by stereo!"
Grandpa: "Well, now, let me put it this way. If all the corpses buried around here were to stand up all at once, we'd have one hell of a population problem."

MOVIE MONDAY

I know... I know, it's Tuesday but I was out of the loop yesterday so I'm doing my Movie Monday today but don't worry, Twilight Tuesday is coming up also!!!
So another favorite movie of mine, still deals with vamps! Yep...
I fell in love with Interview with a Vampire (1994) the minute I saw it. Now, I too was on the band wagon about the Tom Cruise shit. I still to this day, think that another actor could have played Lestat better... It's just my opinion.
Anyhoo, this is also when I first fell head over heels with Brad Pitt. Not to mention that another heart throb of mine, Christan Slater, was in it too. YES, I'll admit it, I LOVE CHRISTAN SLATER!!! Heathers, Pump up the Volume, Mobsters? You get my point!!!
Back to Interview, as I like to call it. Neil Jordan took the helms of this awesome movie, based on the book by Anne Rice (she used to live in New Orleans, hence her always writing about vampires, LOL). Tom Cruise ( excuse me while I throw up my lunch) play the vampire Lestat. Joined by Brad Pitt as Louie, Kristen Dunst as Claudia, Stephan Rea as Santiago and Antonio Banderas as Armand.
As for the interviewer, this part was suppose to be originally played by River Phoenix. However, before filming began, he died and was replaced with Christan Slater at the last minute. As a salute to his friend, Slater donated his salary from the movie and royalties to Phonenix's favorite charities
The movie is just what the title is, an interview with a vampire. Pitt's Louis want's his life written for him as he has lived centuries. It starts in present day San Fransisco, with Slater interviewing Pitt's Louis. We learn about Lestat and the life they lived in the 1800 New Orleans. We also learn that even as a Vampire, you can still be pure and not have to hunt humans, as Louis did. He prayed mostly on rats. LOL
If you haven't seen this yet, you need to! Pitt is wonderful, as is Slater and Dunst. Her portrayal of Claudia, a fierce little vampire was amazing. Kinda of a Jane of the 90's!!! Banderas was sinister like his character and always gave me a chill.
I've seen this movie over a dozen times. I know every line, every scene. I also tend to walk by, every now and then, the places they film here. Matter of fact, the home that Louis owned is a plantation not far from my home here. But, no, at the time I didn't know they were filming, so no pictures of him. * sad face forms *
So, my recommendation is for you to watch this movie if you haven't. And if you've seen it before, watch it again. It never gets old!!!
Now, I leave you guys with my favorite quotes from the movie:
Claudia: "I want some more."
Louis: "I'm flesh and blood, but not human. I haven't been human for two hundred years."
Louis: "1791 was the year it happened. I was 24, younger than you are now."
